Microsoft .Net® Technology
We use .Net (Dot Net) technology to build Windows applications and dynamic/data-driven business websites. .Net is Microsoft's latest programming model which facilitates quick, reliable, and compatible application development. The .Net technology is incorporated in the Windows® operating system and thus is installed on both business computers and web servers. This fact makes .Net technology the most compatible and flexible software technology available.

Microsoft Office®
Microsoft Word®, Excel®, Outlook®, and Power Point® have a built-in programming language that can automate most manual operations. This programming capability allows Office applications to easily share data. Hoge Software Solutions knows how to automate repetitive tasks and can even build a complete application quickly using Microsoft Office. We use Micosoft Access® (another member of the Office family) to quickly build smaller business applications.
SQL Server® Database Technology
For applications requiring a database, we use exclusively Microsoft's SQL Server technology. SQL Server is perfect for all sized applications and also for transactional websites. A free version of SQL Server handles 80% of all business requirements. If needed, SQL Server can be scaled to handle the largest business applications.
Software Development Technologies
Hoge Software Solutions invests in the latest Microsoft application development tools such as Visual Studio. Our Visual Studio® programming tool helps us to quickly develop, test, and debug our software. It even automatically validates the websites we build, to ensure they are compliant with current web standards.
Internet Technologies
We stay abreast of all the changes in Internet/Web technologies to ensure your website meets the latest standards and can be easily found by your customers. We build our websites using the latest web standards but also ensure they are compatible with the older Browsers that are still in use. We understand that many web Browsers currently in use have not been updated. For example, many people still use Internet Explorer Rev. 6.0 even though Rev. 7.0 has been available for some time. We keep this in mind when performing our testing.
